With early Spring comes the start of an exciting wedding season.
I feel overly inspired at this particular time of the year. Finally it feels as we have been awakened from the deep hibernation of Winter. We are now ready to conquer the world again.
This feeling of aliveness and enthusiasm brings about many interesting ideas and positive vibe to our daily routine. Even just looking at those first blossoming flowers and trees, makes your heart sing and fills you with optimism and joy. Just like falling in love .
Spring wedding theme inspired by roses
As much as we love so many different flowers , there can only be one queen amongst them all. Have you ever smelt anything more divine than a heavenly scent of a rose? Not to mention it’s absolutely stunning flower shape. Roses are an iconic part of innumerable stories and legends. And they always invoke romantic feelings even in the hardest of hearts.
Besides their visual beauty and lovely scent, roses have some amazing medical properties of calming the mind, boosting self esteem and confidence. They help to drive away anxiety and depression and bring back positivity and optimism. Don’t we all need this at some point in our lives? Or may be even everyday.
The garden of roses
Out of so many amazing DIY wedding ideas for spring 2017, there is one that stands out for me the most. So here I would like to share with you a very romantic rose theme Spring DIY wedding to ignite your imagination.
This beautiful Rose inspired Spring wedding took place in the lovely Dorset countryside. Inspired by her future surname ”Rose”, Bride Lucy has created a rose heaven at Edmondsham House and Gardens.
Feminine, ultra chic and infused with country romance , this spring wedding theme is by far my very favourite Spring theme 2017. Perhaps it is also because I have a thing for roses which doesn’t come as a surprise. I used to live in a ”Rose” country Bulgaria, famous for it’s Rose Valley – the largest rose plantation in the world. Rose heaven on earth!

Let’s not forget the creative force behind this prettiness. Besides Lucy’s enormous input in creating her dream wedding, there are few other people that are behind this rose heaven. Let me start with the super talented Dorset florist Naomi from Naomi Joy Floral Design who made this Rose heaven reality.
How about that devine rose arch ? A truly romantic touch to have at your wedding. By Che boutique creates stunning floral arches to add that special touch of romance to your wedding day.
The stunning cake design is by my very favourite Dorset cake maker Emma of Fancie Buns. The lady is a cake genius!
Make up by the lovely Laura of The Beauty Workshop
