School Bus
In Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. students age four and up are permitted to ride a school bus. GISW offers school bus service in the morning, and at both 3:10 pm and 4:45 pm dismissals. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO BUS SERVICE AT ANY OTHER TIME, EXCEPT ON EARLY RELEASE DAYS when dismissal is at 12:15pm.
Bus routes are adjusted each summer for the upcoming school year, depending on student addresses and interest in bus service. You can review the current bus routes below. Based upon interest the school tries to accommodate everyone鈥檚 needs. Bus routes will be posted here before the first day of classes in August. In case adjustments are made during the school year, updated lists are distributed by email to all bus families and posted on the school鈥檚 website.
