Admissions Process
Step 1:
Submit Application Forms
If you decided to enroll your child at GISW, please create an account on our application portal and complete the application form there.
Please include all required supporting documents (see checklists).
Note: You may exchange information with the school throughout the entire process via the application portal.
Please pay the non-refundable application fee of $150 when submitting the application form.
Once we receive the application form, including all required supporting documents according to the checklist, and the application fee, we will review your application with together with the pedagogical staff.
Step 2:
Application Review and Admissions Decision
The application review may take between 4 and 6 weeks.
Note: It may be necessary for a child applying for admission to the School Entry Level (SEL), elementary school, or upper school to have their German or other language skills (Math, English, etc.) evaluated in a personal assessment with a teacher.
The school's Admissions Office will arrange an appointment between your family and the relevant teacher.
The final decision regarding a student's admission rests with the Head of School.
The Admissions Office will inform you of our admissions decision via the application portal. Please check your account regularly.
If accepted, you will receive an official confirmation by email.
Step 3:
Signing the School Contract
Once you have received a positive decision, the Admissions Office will send you a school contract via the parent portal.
Please return the fully signed contract within 10 days of receipt to reserve a guaranteed spot for your child(ren).
Note: To complete the contract, please carefully read the School Contract FAQ.
The one-time enrollment fee of $2,500 and the annual contract deposit of $1,000 are due at signing. Both amounts are non-refundable.
Important: A student is not considered fully enrolled until a signed school contract, along with payment of the enrollment fee and the contract deposit, is received.
All tuition and other annual fees will be billed according to the payment plan ( monthly, semi-annual or annually) selected on the school contract. Allbonuses, rewards, and discounts will be reflected on the final invoice which you will receive from our Accounting Department.
