Recycling at the DSW
German School Elementary School pupils gathered Monday, September 19, 2016 to learn about the "Recycling Stars." Recycling coordinator Mr. Brown performed an entertaining lecture about properly sorting paper, commingled materials, and trash, with musical support from the Dance Theater AG. Kavin F. (3b) performed an awesome solo rap. "Trash man" Brown praised students for being third-time winners of Montgomery County's "Outstanding Achievement in Recycling" award in 2016. Mr. Brown also thanks his cafeteria composting partners-in-crime, Carolina K.-A. and Hannah O'N. (3b) for their help dumping the compost of the cafeteria three times a week.
